Oktoberfest Celebrates 20th Anniversary!
William Woody -
The local’s celebration of craft beer, food, fun and music just needs one more thing, you!
By William Woody, Visit Montrose
Each year in early fall, a tradition dating back nearly two decades takes form with dozens of brewers tapping cold kegs in one of Montrose’s most iconic locations as smiles, laughs and music blend to form one of the sweetest parties in town.
The annual Oktoberfest in the Rotary Amphitheater hosted by the Black Canyon Homebrewers Association, is one of the most popular dates on any local event calendar, most of the time held in late September. The festival is a fundraiser for All Points Transit, the city’s bus service that has provided an essential public service to the community for years.
