As Colorado prepares for a historic year in 2026, the America 250 – Colorado 150 Digital Passport Program is rolling out three new passports and incentives for residents and visitors to explore the Centennial State. Participants can now earn chances to win $500 in United travel credits and a grand prize of 150,000 United MileagePlus® miles simply by checking in at participating Passport locations across Colorado.

In 2026, Colorado will celebrate a milestone year — 150 years of statehood and 250 years of American independence. To mark the occasion, participants who check in at participating Passport locations can win $500 in United travel credits and receive an automatic entry for the 150,000 United MileagePlus® miles grand prize. United Airlines, the program’s primary sponsor, is helping power the passport experience across Colorado.
Colorado Passports are free, mobile-exclusive passes that reward exploration across the state, making it easy and fun to discover Colorado’s vibrant towns, cultural landmarks, local businesses, and outdoor destinations. There is no app to download; each passport is delivered directly to a participant’s phone, and check-ins are quick and easy using GPS.

64 County Challenge Passport Expires December 31, 2026 Take on Colorado’s ultimate exploration challenge by visiting destinations across all 64 counties—from historic downtown districts and local museums to mountain communities and cultural hubs. Stops range from places like Fort Morgan’s historic downtown and Creede’s preserved mining district to Old Town Fort Collins, the Wray Museum, and Julesburg’s frontier landmarks. Each check-in highlights the character, history, and local pride found in communities across the state. The more counties you visit, the more entries you earn toward prize drawings, with winners announced at the conclusion of the program in 2026.
Do Colorado Right Passport Expires December 31, 2026 Travel responsibly and explore sustainably. This passport encourages participants to explore Colorado with care, highlighting destinations and businesses that support responsible travel and community stewardship. Check in at EV charging stations, bike rental shops, visitor centers, and sustainability-minded businesses across the state—from places like Browns Canyon National Monument and Leadville’s Visitors Center to local fitness studios, restaurants, and outdoor outfitters. Eat & Drink Local Passport Expires December 31, 2026 Taste your way across Colorado. This passport invites participants to explore Colorado’s vibrant food and beverage scene, with stops at farm-to-table restaurants, neighborhood cafés, craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries across the state. Each check-in celebrates the flavors, ingredients, and makers that define Colorado’s culinary culture. Participants can discover destinations such as Aspen Peak Cellars, Treeline Kitchen, Bookcliff Vineyards, Minturn Whisky Co., and other local favorites while earning entries into prize drawings.
The Colorado Passport Program is a signature initiative of the America 250 – Colorado 150 Commission, created to encourage exploration and connection across the state during this historic anniversary year for Colorado and the nation. Developed in partnership with the Colorado Tourism Office, a division of the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, the program is accessible through Colorado.com, the MyColorado app, and Am250CO150.org, making it easy for residents and visitors alike to participate.
