  3. Montrose Plein Air Festival & Quick Draw

    July 21, 2018, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Montrose Farmers' Market

    Participants will create their works of art right before the eyes of the audience within the boundary of the Montrose Farmers’ Market. All mediums are welcome! There will be three categories for the Quick Draw: Adult Professional , Adult General Public , and Emerging Artist (Ages 13-18). On July 21st, each artist will have two hours to complete their creation. Artists are responsible for providing their own easel, art supplies, etc. Starting at 9:30 am artists will sign-in at the Farmer’s Market and have their painting surface stamped. There will be nothing pre-painted or pre-drawn and all Quick Draw artwork will be completed between 10:00 am and 12 noon.

    Plein Air Art Exhibit and Sale. Artwork presented by artists from Utah, New Mexico, Minnesota, Arizona, and Colorado. Entries are still open to July 1. Artwork represents Plein Air Painting (painting outdoors) within a fifty mile radius of Montrose.
