  1. Black Canyon Astronomy Festival

    June 14, 2018, All Day @ South Rim Campground and Visitor Center - Black Canyon National Park

    Black Canyon offers night sky viewing opportunities throughout the year. The park is always open to stargaze on your own. Rangers and local astronomers present evening talks from May through September every Wednesday and Friday night (weather permitting). A large astronomy festival takes place each June with guest speakers and special activities. The 2018 festival will take place June 13-16.

    Healthy Rhythm Music Presents internationally acclaimed musicians "Dave Curley, Joanna Hyde & Tadhg Ó Meachair :: Live In Concert" for an Evening of Traditional Irish & American Music • Thursday, June 14th, in Healthy Rhythm Community Art Gallery's intimate Listening Room at historic Sampler Square (68 S Grand Ave) in Montrose, Colorado! After show Meet & Greet with musicians are included. Advance purchase is recommended. This is a ticketless event. This show is limited to 50 concertgoers. Admission is $2 more Day of Show (if available). Note: Online and credit card purchases include a small handling fee and applicable tax. This event is a benefit/fundraiser for 5 year-old cancer survivor, Emily Reiss. If this event sells out, the Gallery will donate $100+ to help Emily and her family with medical expenses. Street and rear lot parking available.
