    Black Canyon offers night sky viewing opportunities throughout the year. The park is always open to stargaze on your own. Rangers and local astronomers present evening talks from May through September every Wednesday and Friday night (weather permitting)

    Come to the debut of the MONTROSE BURLY GIRLS! We have had a 7 week intro class lead by Sara Doehrman with an amazing group of ladies! We will have some veteran burlesque gals from Ridgway on the stage as well! Our show is provocative with slapstick humor, dancing skills, and beauty! This show will be a fundraiser for the local roller derby team- U Valley Vixens! A non-profit group of amazing tough bad-ass women! They need bumpers for the track! Their next big bout is May 19th and ladies will be attending to give more info on the derby team and with tickets for that event!

    Healthy Rhythm Music Presents "Lizzy Plotkin & Natalie Spears: Live In Concert" an Evening of Original Americana & Folk Music • Live at Healthy Rhythm Community Art Gallery (68 South Grand Avenue) Friday, May 4th, in Montrose, Colorado! Advance Main Gallery reserved seating ($15) and Studio Gallery General Admission ($10) when purchased at the Gallery. After show Meet & Greet with musicians are included. Advance purchase is recommended. This is a ticketless event. This show is limited to 50 concertgoers. Admission is $2 more Day of Show (if available). Note: Online and credit card purchases include a small handling fee and applicable tax. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Street and rear lot parking available. NOTE: A portion of the concert proceeds will go to the family of 5-year-old brain cancer survivor, Emily Reiss, to help with medical expenses.
