South Rim Campground Amphitheater
Astronomy Evening Program at Black Canyon Natl. Park
Friday, September 29, 2017
Evening Astronomy Programs take place every Wednesday and Friday night at the South Rim Campground Amphitheater. Illustrated ranger-led programs are followed by night sky viewing with telescopes and local astronomers on weeks closest to the New Moon when the weather permits.
Weeks closest to the Full Moon aren't likely to have astronomers with telescopes but there will still be an astronomy themed evening program talk in the amphitheater.
